Troop Transport Amaryllis
  • Captain Tatia Viola Jenkins
  • LT Leopoldo Jimenez, Senior Pilot, callsign 'King', assigned Dropship 1
  • JRLT Robert Beauchene, callsign 'Bear', assigned Dropship 3
  • JRLT Chris Kekoa, callsign 'Waverider', assigned Dropship 5
  • Specialist Brad Wooler, loadmaster, assigned to Dropship 5

Commanding Officer: Captain Tatia Viola Jenkins
Image

Tatia Jenkins is a child of working-class parents and the oldest of three sisters. She entered the Colonial Fleet through her college's Reserve Officer Training Corps, joining the ROTC program for the leadership training it provided. During her two year post-graduation service commitment she discovered she enjoyed being part of the command crew of a starship. She served in every CIC position on her rise to the command chair of the Amaryllis, most recently having been the XO of the troop transport Orontes. Jenkins is now in her fifth year of service beyond her post-grad commitment, and has been the CO of the Amaryllis for 13 months.

Dropship Pilot: Lieutenant Leopoldo Jimenez
Image
Leo is the lead pilot on board the Amaryllis. His call sign is 'King'.

Leopoldo Jimenez is from Halcyon, a city in the Leeward Coast region of Aerilon. An only child, Leo's father was a career police officer, his mother a court reporter. He has always had a love for flying, and became a hang-gliding enthusiast during his high school and early college years. Badly injured in a hang-glider accident as a college sophomore, Jimenez was unable to finish school due to his medical bills. After recovering, he enlisted in the Colonial Fleet, allowing him to both pay off his bills and complete his degree. Lieutenant Jimenez makes no secret that he accepted the challenging but unglamorous job of Dropship pilot as a stepping stone to the cockpit of a Raptor. In his spare time, he flies simulations and studies electronic warfare, the primary function of the bird he hopes to fly.

Dropship Pilot: Junior Lieutenant Robert Beauchene
Image
His callsign is 'Bear', although he dislikes it as much as all the shortened forms of 'Robert'.

Beauchene is Aquarian. Lieutenant Beauchene enlisted in the Fleet with the intention of serving in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, then continuing on into law school as a civilian veteran. However, budget cuts in the Colonial Fleet eliminated his slot in the JAG Corps. Beauchene was shuffled to another specialty, and test results showed he had a high aptitude for dropship operations. Somewhat disillusioned, he elected to go with the test results and serve out his commitment as a Dropship Pilot. He has 15 months remaining.

Dropship Pilot: Junior Lieutenant Chris Kekoa
Image
Chris's call sign is 'Waverider'.

Chris Kekoa was the classic 'surfer dude' in high school, skipping class to ride the waves of Moondream Bay whenever the surf was up. Kekoa would have dropped out except for his tendency to follow his best friend's path - and that friend stayed in to graduate at his parents' insistence. That follower tendency also resulted in Kekoa's decision to join the Colonial Fleet. Kekoa and his friend both ended up flying 'heavies' - small transports and courier craft. Kekoa eventually went looking for something more challenging, and transferred to piloting dropships for the 'rush'. At 22, Kekoa is the youngest pilot aboard the Amaryllis.

Destroyer Escort Bellerophon
  • Commanding Officer Colonel Lawrence Mast
  • Executive Officer Major Jonathan Goldsmith
  • Chief Medical Officer Captain Franklin Boatwright
  • Chief Engineer Captain Andrew Lanphier
  • CIC Weapons Officer: 2LT Deklan Mulroney
  • CIC Dradis Technician: Midshipman Aban El-Azadhi
  • CIC Communications Officer Ensign Makenzie Seward
  • Lt Malachi Nyberg
  • Lt Jack Nathaniel Mayer
  • Deckhand Claudia McGarrie

Bellerophon MarDet
  • SSgt Jenna Walker, CO
  • Cpl Brittany Lewis
  • Cpl Nathan Kendrick
  • LCpl Aiden Knight "K-Bar" Barlow
  • Pvt Eric Benson

Colonel Lawrence Mast, CO Destroyer Escort Bellerophon
Image
Mast is devoutly religious and vehemently anti-Cylon; under the right circumstances he is willing to kill for his beliefs. Mast has also served together with Colonel Trafford, and the two maintain a slight friendship. Mast's hatred of the Cylons stems from his early teen years, when a Cylon attack in the First Cylon War left him an orphan. He was taken in by relatives, a family which included an uncle who was in the Colonial Fleet. Mast is an excellent tactician and command officer. Off-duty he is generally pleasant and likeable. He is extremely intelligent and a formidable opponent both on the battlefield and at the card table. His mercurial nature when it comes to religion - and the Cylons in particular - has been cause for a growing mistrust of their commander by the destroyer escort's crew.

Executive Officer: Major Jonathan Goldsmith
Image
Goldsmith approaches everything with a "can do" attitude. In personal interactions he is almost always upbeat, and it carries over into his bearing as an officer. He is cool under fire, and always seems to be thinking a few steps ahead of the enemy. He conveys the image of being a model officer. Secretly, Goldsmith is involved in the texa smuggling spearheaded by the Chiron XO, Captain Eglin. No one expects this, and Goldsmith has always been able to deflect any suspicion onto Colonel Mast.

Chief Medical Officer: Captain Franklin Boatwright
Image
Boatwright is a combat-experienced Doctor. While his demeanor is somewhat retiring when faced with most aspects of life, when he is actively practicing his art he is very confident and effective.

Chief Engineer: Captain Andrew Lanphier
Image
Lanphier is a risk-taker, willing to accept almost any challenge and hit it head-on. Back in the Colonies he was an active sportsman, involved in activities including archery, wrestling, rock climbing and off-road motorcycling. He is a top-notch engineer and maintains high standards in his department.

CIC Weapons Officer: 2LT Deklan Mulroney
Image
Decisive and quick-acting, 2LT Mulroney is an exemplary weapons officer. In personal relations he is initially easy-going and treats those with opposing opinions with amusement, though if pushed he will become intimidating - and if he perceives any kind of physical threat he will not hesitate to become physical himself. He is a trained hand-to-hand fighter and is very adept at boxing as well as with staff weapons (a combat style common among his forebears). Mulroney is Caprican, but from the rural Viridian province, from which the leadership of the IHC movement arose. Despite this historical connection, he has no sympathies for the modern IHC.

CIC Dradis Technician: Midshipman Aban El-Azadhi
Image
El-Azadhi has completed his third year at Fleet Training Academy on Picon, and has been assigned to the Bellerophon for an OJT "summer cruise". While he has the same responsibilities as an Petty Officer, he carries the rank of Midshipman due to his status as an FTA enrollee. Although he is no pushover, he is generally a quiet and reserved individual. However, he can become quite animated when he gets excited. He has been nicknamed "Ben" but considers it a mark of friendship to be addressed by his true first name.

CIC Communications Officer Ensign Makenzie Seward
Image

Commander, Embarked Air Wing: Lieutenant Malachi Nyberg
Image
Growing up in his parents business, Malachi soon came into contact with several of the more undesirable elements of society which prompted him to quickly learn how to defend himself against bigger and stronger opponents. Usually his tactics involved 'running as fast as you can' followed by 'strike them from behind when they have forgotten about you'. Not even the Colonial Fleet could could get him to loose that trait after he joined at the age of 17, after his parents disappeared in outer space without leaving any trace. Petty Officer Nyberg attended OCS at the age of 22.

Senior Pilot: Lieutenant Jack Nathaniel Mayer
Image
Native of Scorpia (not clan)
Age 39
Orphaned shortly after birth, Mayer never knew his true ancestry. He interacted with enough of the Scorpians who were clan to learn their ways.

Deckhand Azad Rafif

SSgt Jenna "J" Walker, Mardet CO

Asclepius Class Hospital Ship Chiron
  • Commanding Officer Major Albert D. Davenport
  • Executive Officer Captain Francis (Frank) Eglin
  • Chief Medical Officer Doctor (Major) Bertrand Lemonde, MD
  • Chief Engineer Lieutenant Ward Wilkinson
  • Officer of the Watch Lieutenant Dustin Abberaugh
  • Director of Nursing Care Captain Katherine Layton, RN
  • Lt. Paul Tolbert, bridge officer
  • Master Chief Petty Officer Esther Pardo, Engineering FTL/Navigation Systems
  • Nurse Lieutenant Kelsey
  • Nurse Ensign Gregorty
  • Petty Officer 2nd Class Elaina Davos, bridge crew
  • Specialist Rex Tamati, bridge crew
  • Medical Corpman CPL Lance Nolan

Commanding Officer Major (Dr.) Albert D. Davenport, MD
Image
Native of Libran
Age 38
Al Davenport is the only child of Beatrice Gregorcyk, a Libran Supreme Court Judge, and Donald Davenport, a lawyer consultant to Libran’s governing council. Beatrice was a Scribe in the Order of the Dragon, and passed on her knowledge and library to Al when he graduated from high school at age 16. Al is gifted academically, having finished med school at age 22 and completed his internship and residency at age 25. His specialty was orthopedics, and he worked in private practice, setting up an orthopedic teaching clinic that became renowned throughout the colonies for experimental and innovative techniques. Bored with private practice, and committed to the goal of the Order of the Dragon, Al joined the Colonial Navy at age 32, rising quickly through the ranks. He’s obsessively single-minded, learning every detail and becoming expert about topics that interest him, and dismissing subjects that don’t interest him as “unimportant”. He does, however, understand the necessity for Fleet political maneuvering.

Major Davenport is not actively involved in the texa gem smuggling operation, but he is aware of it. He is willing to turn a blind eye toward the illicit activity so that it does not interfere with what he feels is Chiron's primary purpose - the Search for Earth. Davenport is a scribe in the Order of the Dragon and knows about the hidden Ophiuchus computer system.

Executive Officer Captain Francis (Frank) Eglin
Image
Native of Virgon
Age 30
The only child of Virgon-born parents, Eglin was orphaned when his mother and father perished in the collapse of a domed city on Troy. Eglin spent some tough years in foster care, during which time he was introduced to the martial art jujutsu, with which he became fascinated. Largely due to the confidence and discipline he gained from martial arts training, Eglin graduated high school and was accepted by several colleges. He took advantage of a number of government programs for survivors of the Troy disaster, and attended Virgon University.

Eglin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Healthcare Management. He continued in the Masters program, earning an M.S. in Emergency Response Management. He was seeking a Colonial Small Business Stimulus loan, intending to start a private ambulance service, when he accompanied a friend to a Fleet recruiting office. Although he had not intended to enlist, Eglin immediately recognized the advantage that military service would provide him and made the decision to delay starting a business. Commissioned as a Lieutenant junior grade, Eglin served at Fleet Hospital Stonehorse (part of the medical campus at Theseopolis), becoming Lieutenant Commander of Emergency Readiness and Response Services.

Captain Eglin is the lynch pin of the smuggling operation, and all contact with any involved outside elements goes through him.

Chief Medical Officer Major (Dr.) Bertrand Lemonde, MD
Image
Doctor Lemonde is an extremely talented surgeon and excellent general physician. He is well-mannered and suave, and polite to a fault. Lemonde was well-to-do before the Colonies fell, leading to a question common among his crew... why was he in the military? No one has yet pried the answer out of him. Although his family carries an Aquarian surname, he is from Tauron.

Chief Engineer Lieutenant Ward Wilkinson
Image
Native of Caprica
Age 34
Wilkinson comes from a middle-class Caprican family. His family operated several automotive shops in Delphi, and Wilkinson grew up surrounded by mechanical equipment and people who worked on it. He showed an early aptitude for the family business, and became a notorious street racer as a teen. He also excelled at physical activities, playing both pyramid and havoc in high school (the latter being a skirmish-based game of advancing a ball across a field to a scoring objective). During Wilkinson's college years, he became involved in an automotive "chop shop" operation. When Delphi police raided the operation, Wilkinson faced serious criminal charges. A sympathetic judge offered him the option of military service, and Wilkinson chose to enlist in the Fleet's engineering program. After spending more than ten years as a non-com, Wilkinson accepted a commission and has since served as Chief of Engineering on a series of smaller warships.

Lt. Wilkinson is also involved in the smuggling operation.

Director of Nursing Care Captain Katherine Layton, RN
Image
Layton is detail-oriented and a perfectionist; in personal interactions she often comes off as irritating and superior. While she is an excellent administrator, her other traits cause her management skills to be overshadowed.

Medical Corpsman CPL Lance Nolan
Image
CPL Nolan is a certified combat medic.

Fleet Tylium Tanker Distant Sun
  • Commanding Officer Captain Jason Paul Ames
  • Executive Officer Lieutenant j.g. Daniel Coulter
  • Tankerman Petty Officer 1st Harrison Lee Grainger

Captain Jason Paul Ames, Commander of the Distant Sun
Image
Native of Caprica
Age: 39
With dark brown hair and eyes and fair skin, Ames is a typical Caprican. He has a very serious demeanor, but he does have a lighter side and it often shocks people when he breaks into a smile.

Ames has served just 10 years with the Colonial Fleet. Prior to that he was an enforcement agent with the Colonial Dept of Narcotics and Controlled Substances (NarCon). After being shot in the line of duty and nearly bleeding to death before assistance arrived, Ames was offered a desk job or a retirement package. He accepted retirement, and almost immediately joined the Colonial Fleet. He attended the Fleet's Advanced Tactical Aerospace Combat school (ATAC) and although he performed well he did not achieve the extraordinary marks necessary to earn him a position as a fighter pilot. Subsequently, he flew heavies for the Fleet Combat Support Logistics Command. Later he was promoted to the command of a series of small support starships, including Advanced Warning Surveillance vessels and Forward Communications ships. He's been the CO of the Distant Sun, his first large-scale command, for 18 months.

JR Lieutenant Daniel Coulter, Executive Officer of the Distant sun
Image
Native of Virgon
Age: 26
Coulter is brown-eyed and has blondish-brown hair. He has the toned build of someone who exercises regularly.

Coulter is a graduate of Colonial Central University, having a B.S. in History. He entered the Colonial Fleet through the Reserve Officers Training Corp, and chose to go active shortly after completion of his training. He's been in space for three years, primarily on tanker vessels. He has been the XO of the Distant Sun for just over 6 months now.

PO1/Tankerman Harrison Lee Grainger
Image
Native of Picon
Age: 36
'Harry Lee' is dark-skinned, broad-shouldered, and bald. He is generally good-natured and friendly, but his inner toughness is evident in the way he carries himself and how he handles other people.

Harrison studied History and Pre-Law at Picon Colonial University, but left college after the death of his father and entered the Merchant Marine. He quickly became dissatisfied with how things were done aboard the civilian ships, and enlisted in the Colonial Fleet. He has served for 12 years, working his way up from Deckhand Recruit to First Class Petty Officer. He has been aboard the Distant Sun for two years, and is closer to Captain Ames than any other crewman, except possibly Ames' XO. Harrison is a hard worker, and expects a lot from the men who work with him. He has a reputation for being firm but fair. His interests include physical fitness, professional sports, card playing and fly fishing. He regrets the circumstances that prevented him from attending Law School, and maintains a strong interest in the law and the political process.

Titan Class Frigate Patrocles
  • Commanding Officer Colonel Wallace Bisby
  • Executive Officer Captain (selected for Major) Lauren Thompson
  • Dr. (Major) Camille Aldrich
  • NPC CIC officer Ensign Jacob Brown
  • NPC CIC officer Lt. Davisson
  • NPC CIC officer Lt. Garrett Bild
  • NPC CIC technician Specialist Tere
  • NPC Personnelist Specialist Karen Rankin
  • NPC Engineering-Weapons Chief Barbara Kraemer
  • Lt Kacey "Angel" Hawkins, Raptor pilot
  • JRLT Dylan "Hobo" Herlihy, Raptor ECO
  • Corpsman Eldridge

Patrocles MarDet
  • MarDet Commander Staff Sergeant Lynden
  • Sergeant Marina Granger
  • Marine PFC Nikol S'Jahar
  • Cpl Oliver "Ollie" Chin
  • PFC Patricia Karoli
  • PFC Mark Hester
  • PFC Jake Bohman

Colonel Wallace Bisby, Commander, Frigate Patrocles
Image
Wallace Bisby is the tall, gaunt commander of the Patrocles. He is a veteran of the First Cylon War, and is fervently anti-Cylon. Despite sharing their views of Cylons and related technology, Bisby and Colonel Mast disagree on almost everything else. Bisby and Trafford have some (minor) shared history, though neither would name the other as a 'friend'.

Bisby is an Aquarian, and harbors a distrust of all Scorpians - clan and clanless alike - that borders on paranoia. With most other people, he tends to be haughty and self-righteous. He takes his position as the senior surviving Fleet officer very seriously, and bristles at any questioning of his authority and decisions.

Executive Officer Captain (selected for Major) Lauren Thompson
Image
Native of Caprica
Lauren Thompson is the daughter of Colonel Avery Thompson and Colonel Barbara Thompson. Both her parents served in and retired from the Colonial Fleet, and it was taken for granted that their only child would also join the Fleet. She was an honor graduate of the Fleet Academy and served on several Colonial warships as a Viper pilot before she was assigned as the Pegasus’ executive officer of the ship’s Air Group. Her excellence at both flying and command earned her Admiral Cain’s endorsement for promotion to Major and recommendation to serve as a Fleet ship’s XO. She was temporarily assigned to the Patrocles four months before she was scheduled to begin Air War College on Picon.

Dr. (Major) Camille Aldrich, Chief Medical Officer on the Patrocles
Image
Dr. Aldrich is a tough, no-nonsense physician from Leonis. She doesn't hesitate to stand up to Bisby if needed, but she's also extremely capable, which is why Bisby tolerates her. She has six corpsmen in her staff, two of whom are certified combat medics.

Raptor 775 Pilot Lt Kacey "Angel" Hawkins
Image
Hawkins got her callsign from her first flight instructor, who swore she was the "angel of death", out to kill him and anyone else in the sector.

Raptor 775 ECO JRLT Dylan "Hobo" Herlihy
Image
Herlihy's callsign, "Hobo", was given to him during flight training when his buddies discovered he was always 'broke' when his turn came to buy drinks. Some of the guys wanted to name him "Vagrant", but it didn't catch on.

MarDet commander Staff Sergeant Kenneth Lynden
Image
Native of Picon
Age 34
SSgt Lynden has been in the Colonial Marines for 16 years, having spent most of those years assigned to various ships in the fleet. He prefers serving on the smaller ships, and considers his post as commander of the Patrocles' small MarDet to be his best assignment so far.

Marine Sergeant Marina Granger
Image
Native of Sagittaron
Age 38
Sergeant Marina Granger is single mother who joined the Marines to be able to pay the bills and give a better life to her daughter, who lives with her grandmother - Marina's mother - back in Sagittaron. Marina is a pragmatist and a survivor.

Marine Private Nikol S’Jahar
Image
Native of Scorpia, Clan Jahari
Clan Tattoo:
Image
Age 19
Nikol’s clan was angry at the Scorpia government because the government was cheating the clan out of profits from the sale of texa gems and trying to discover the location of texa gem deposits. The Jahari clan believed that the Scorpia government’s ultimate goal was to subjugate all the clans, using them as slave labor. Their plan to oppose the Scorpia government involved sending some of their clan members into Colonial service, to learn more about larger scale warfare and to get clan members in positions of influence in the Colonial government. Nikol was chosen to join the Colonial Marines and learn about how they conduct combat campaigns; and then return to Scorpia to train other clan members to fight and defend the clan.

Civilian Research Vessel Satyr
Advanced Biomedical Research Corp.

  • Commanding Officer Mischa Cherenko
  • Executive Officer Gabriel Kyros
  • Security Chief Robert Rand
  • Doctor Luther Bragg
  • Chief of Surgery Doctor Kevin Lassiter
  • Anesthesiologist Dr. Marc Metzeler
  • Amber Beck, MS/ME, PhD/BE, Biomedical Engineer

  • Kirk Means, Ship's Electrician
  • Security Officer Ben Smith
  • Mr. Jaeger, Comms officer
  • Mr. Sterling (F), Helmsman

Captain Mischa Aleksandra Cherenko
Image

Mischa Cherenko is the daughter of adult actress Rida Cherenko (known in the trade as "Cherry Red") and an unknown father. During Mischa's early childhood her mother became one of the most popular porn actresses throughout the Twelve Worlds. When Mischa was ten years old Rida attempted to cross over into legitimate acting, taking the starring role in a police drama named "Miss Behavior" about a violent crimes profiler combating her own personal demons. The show was cancelled after just 7 episodes, receiving a lukewarm public reception and negative critical reviews.

To resolve a drug debt incurred by her mother Mischa was sold to Leonine gangster Anatoly Sarnychev, a member of the Bratva Levskaya (Brotherhood of Lions, roughly), an informal group of underworld figures existing primarily in the Colony of Leonis. Mischa was twelve. While initially just one of the young girls Sarnychev kept, by her 15th birthday she had become his favorite, and Sarnychev often sealed business deals by temporarily giving his 'Darina' (gift) to criminal associates. Mischa was a willing participant by this time, and reveled in her importance within Sarnychev's empire.

After Sarnychev's murder just before Mischa's 17th birthday she began an association with Leonine playboy and suspected gangster Vyacheslav Moroshkin. She provided Moroshkin's alibi for the time of Sarnychev's death, testifying before a Grand Jury which ultimately decided there was insufficient cause to prosecute Moroshkin. An attempt was made by Leonine Federal authorities to make a case against her as the murderer, positing that she had fallen out of Sarnychev's favor as she matured sexually, but no indictment was ever filed.

Now an adult, Mischa Cherenko often appeared in the tabloid media on Moroshkin's arm, engaged in activities ranging from society galas to aerospace races. Moroshkin was a privately licensed aerospace pilot, and assisted Cherenko in acquiring her license. By age 22, Cherenko's relationship with Moroshkin was fading. She was often seen in the company of Moroshkin's cousin, Fedor Cherenko (no relation), a lawyer for Advanced BioResearch Corporation as well as with Moroshkin's elder brother Vitenka, an investor with holdings in transportation companies such as InterSun and AerStar.

At the time of the Cylon attacks, Mischa Cherenko has been commanding starships for ABR Corporation for five years. She has just turned 30.

Executive Officer Gabriel Kyros
Image

Gabriel Kyros grew up on the Anatolia Peninsula on Canceron, the son of a spice farmer who grew saffron crocus flowers on the arid plateaus of the region. Kyros' home village of Chania was a colorful hillside settlement of narrow streets and stone houses. The residents of Chania eschewed most modern conveniences, although their lives were far from austere. As a teen, Kyros learned to hang-glide from the sea cliffs near his home, as well as dive from them to swim the challenging waters of the rocky coast.

Kyros attended a local university, pursuing a philosophy degree while taking correspondence courses in Aviation Sciences from Canceron Regional University. Upon graduation he was recruited by the Air Guard of the Republic of Thessaly. He elected to accept their offer, converting his mandatory two years of public service to four years in the military. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to Chania and to his father's spice farm.

Difficulties with Kyros' father and brothers, fueled primarily by his sexual preference, led Kyros to leave Canceron when he was 27. He moved to Caprica City, where he found his lifestyle to be accepted. He continued flying, working as a private flight instructor for atmospheric craft, then later as a commercial transport pilot. By age 30 he had advanced to interplanetary transports and then to interstellar.

Over the next two years he piloted a large number of flights to Libran after the United Colonies organization was formed. His curiosity about the pan-colonial cooperation effort led him to further research the United Colonies, and eventually to apply to join the Air Branch of their peacekeeping force. He continued as an active UC pilot for six years, until the UC was disbanded. Afterward he relocated to Scorpia Colony where he flew for the Scorpia Federal Geological Survey Office. After a brush with Scorpia Federal law enforcement resulted in his dismissal from the FGSO he sought employment once again in the private sector. Advanced BioResearch Corporation hired him approximately six months later.

At the time of the Cylon attacks he has been a command officer with ABR for almost four years. Gabriel is now 42 years old.

Security Chief Robert Rand
Image

Writer: RangerLord
Character Name: Robert Rand
Rank/Job Title: Security Officer, Advanced Biomedical Research Corp.
Age: 38
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 275
Description: Rand is a solidly built, muscular individual with pale blue eyes and dark, receding hair which he keeps cropped very short.
Marital Status: Divorced
Colony: Leonis (Kingstown)

Background Info: Rand was a Security Officer for Advanced BioResearch Corporation, based on Aquaria, a job which could more accurately be described as corporate mercenary. Prior to Day Zero he lead a team of ex-military personnel who performed clandestine operations to further the company's goals.

After losing both his arms during a corporate black op, Rand was reassigned to the research cruiser Satyr where he was fitted with advanced prostheses based on cylon technology. He was one of the few survivors when the Satyr crashed on NGC-14246 II.

Dr. Luther Bragg
Image

Writer: RangerLord
Character Name: Luther Bragg
Rank/Job Title: Doctor, Chief of Neurosurgery, Satyr
Age: 26
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 155
Description: Bragg is average height and slender, with dark brown hair and green eyes.
Marital Status: Single
Colony: Aquaria

Background Info: Bragg excelled in school throughout his early and intermediate education, and was considered a prodigy in medical school. He specialized in neurosurgery, and finished his MD degree at an astonishing 24 years of age. Although many assumed he would complete a residency at a public hospital and go on to become a famous surgeon, Bragg instead disappeared into the murky world of corporate medical research. Employed by Advanced BioResearch Corporation, Bragg was appointed as Chief of Neurosurgery aboard the research cruiser Satyr approximately two years before Day Zero.

When the Satyr was sabotaged and crashed on NGC 14246-II, Bragg was one of the few survivors. Upon his rescue by the Libra fleet he passed himself off as a simple medical orderly, assisting Robert Rand. He took quarters aboard the Nimbus and quickly established himself as a broker of illegal deals, an activity which he built upon to become the de facto criminal boss of the passenger liner.

Colonel William Trafford, Commanding Officer
Image
Native of Tauron
Age 53
A 35-year veteran of the Colonial Fleet, Trafford spent his time as an enlisted man serving as a knuckledragger. After graduating from OCS, he has served as an officer aboard a number of support vessels, including Combat Rescue ships, Repair ships, and Vessel Retrievers. A posting to the Scorpia Shipyards as TCO (supposedly a reward, as it kept him near home) proved to Trafford that he belonged on board a ship. He petitioned Fleet HQ for a new assignment, and due to his experience he drew a command assignment to one of the new supertugs, the Tauranian Titan.

Major Mikhail Kadrovic, Executive Officer
Image
Native of Picon
Age 42
Kadrovic has been in the Colonial Fleet for 18 years. Prior to that he was a beach bum (part-time lifeguard, part-time surf instructor, part-time gas and diesel mechanic, all-the-time partier) drifting from resort town to resort town in Picon's tropical belt. Eventually, he turned his aptitude for mechanic work into a commission in the Colonial Fleet. Primarily working on space docks, Kadrovic has also served aboard Repair ships previously. He turned down a command of his own in order to serve aboard the Titan.

Lieutenant Erik Keppler, DRADIS Officer
Image
Native of Aquaria
Age 27

Ensign Haley O'Rinn, Communications Officer

Major Emmanuelle "Emma" Cavanaugh, Commander of the 171st Naval Construction Battalion
Image
Native of Aerelon
Age 35
Cavanaugh comes from a family with a strong Naval tradition. She has been in the Colonial Fleet for 14 years, entering service after earning her Mechanical Engineering degree. She takes great pride in the job she does, and in the performance of those who serve under her. She is quick to reprimand those who do not meet her expectations, but equally quick to recognize and commend those who perform exceptionally. Her tendency to refer to equipment and vessels in her care as though they were human patients has lead to the members of the 171st referring to her as "Doc Cavanaugh", though never to her face.

Master Chief Petty Officer Vincentius "Ty" Samuels, Master Salvage Engineer
Image
Native of Picon
Age 43
Samuels has 25 years of service in the Colonial Fleet, working his way up through the knuckledragger ranks from deckhand recruit to his current position as a Master Chief. He has worked on nearly every military vessel type that the Colonies ever sent into space, as well as a fair number of civilian vessel types. He is an avid outdoorsman and has extensive experience as a hunter, fisherman, camper, hiker and rock climber. He is also a zealous reader, both of technical publications like the Journal of Aerospace Engineering, and of works of fiction, especially adventure novels.

Constructionman/Aerospace Salvage Specialist Bryan Mason
Image
Native of Aquaria
Age 22
A city boy from Triton, one of Aquaria's largest cities, Bryan was a collegiate pyramid player. He is also a hot rodder, his love for cars being inherited from his father.

Constructionman/Salvage Diver First Class Michael Tallent
Image
Native of Aquaria
Age 24
Michael hails from the suburbs of Triton, Aquaria. He graduated in the top 10% of his high school class, and attended Triton City College where he received an Associates Degree in Electronics. He is a recreational salt-water diver, as well as an experienced sky-diver. He also enjoys winter sports, especially snowboarding.

Constructionman Apprentice Davy Foreman
Image
Native of Scorpia (not clan)
Age 19
Davy grew up in Ariadne, a medium-sized coastal city on Scorpia. The youngest of four children, Davy's older siblings were all high-achievers who followed their parent's academic career paths. Davy's interests in construction and ship building were dismissed as unimportant, and his entire family was shocked when he joined the Colonial Navy to be a Seabee. He's a decent one-on-one Pyramid player and is skilled at using computer-aided design programs, usually designing ships, both sea-and space-faring.

Major Rattler (Pressi S'Lajek), Commander
Image
Native of Scorpia, Clan Dalnari (Disavowed)
Age 63
Rattler became Disavowed over four decades ago. Rumors claim that he later returned with a band of fellow Disavowed and wiped out his former clan. Whether that is true or not, he has been leading groups of Disavowed in paramilitary operations ever since, and in the last decade has firmly established himself as the sole commander of two companies of mercenaries composed almost entirely of outcast clanspeople.

Corporal Suyain S'Zarfi (Josef Morgan)

Lieutenant Kasan Smith, 2nd Platoon CO
Image
Native of Scorpia, Clan affiliation (if any) unknown
Age 26
Lieutenant Kasan Smith is the commander of 2nd Platoon, "A" Company, Mercenary Battalion. He the only member of the battalion who does not have the mark of the outcast, the scar or tattoo over his left eye. He also does not have the clan tattoo as the other Fiddà have, although he is clearly and completely nomad. Smith is as ruthless and as thoroughly military as Rattler. The nomads in the battalion have a variety of conjectures how he became a mercenary, but Smith neither confirms or denies any of the rumors. As far as the battalion members can determine, Smith has served under Rattler longer than anyone else. His fighting style with a knife is very similar to Rattler's, which seems logical to the mercs, as he often practices with Rattler. Smith is hard but fair with the members of his platoon. They know not to cross him, but respect him for his military skills and consistency of discipline.
